"Emerald Falls"

$400

This necklace suggests deep green forests with seductive waterfalls. The chrysoprase cabochon attracts abundance. Chrysoprase was used by the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians in jewelry and ornamentation. It was known as the “Victory Stone”. Alexander the Great carried a chrysoprase stone in his girdle. One day a snake bit off the stone and it dropped into a river. He never won another battle.

The chrysoprase cabochon , 2.25 in. long and 2 in wide, is framed and supported by black beads and green seed beads. The tassels are iridescent green and trimmed with Swarovsky crystals. The green of the chrysoprase cabochon is further accented by the malachite chips separating the silver and onyx beads. The 22.75 in. necklace. closes with a gold filled push clasp.
