| The dendritic inclusions on a
pale blue background spotted with dabs of gold suggest the solitude of a
single pine tree. This jasper cabochon “scene” is supported and framed
with gold, black and iridescent blue seed beads. The jade, onyx and smoky
quartz beads in the necklace reflect the predominate colors of the
cabochon “scene”. The cabochon measures 2.75 in wide by 2.50 inches in
height. The necklace is 20.75 in. long and is made up of 3/8 in. round,
faceted beads of onyx and smoky quartz. The pale honey jade beads are
slightly larger, measuring 7/16 in. Bicone Swarovsky crystals add sparkle
to the entire composition. There is a silver triangular push clasp
containing a pale yellow glass bead.
